Great American Heart Run & Walk

St. Elizabeth College of Nursing faculty and students participated in the Great American Heart Run and Walk on March 6, 2010. Funds raised will assist in the prevention and treatment of heart disease within the Mohawk Valley region. President Monahan reported the college prides itself in actively participating in events that promote health and wellness within our community and its outliers.

Freshman Pinning Ceremony

The Freshman Pinning Ceremony was held on January 23rd for the weekend class and on January 30th for the weekday class. The Freshman were pinned with a cross by their respective class advisor. This ceremony signifies achievements within the nursing program and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with classmates and family alike.

Students Participate in Disaster Drill

Marianne Monahan, College President, commends the nursing students who participated in St. Elizabeth Medical Center's Disaster Drill on September 19, 2009.Many students got up early on a Saturday morning to participate. This is a true learning experience in the event we are ever faced with a true disaster.
