Pre-requisite Course Requirements / Recommendations
Mathematics, Course A, or Elementary Algebra - 1 unit
If the applicant did not take the above course in high school, it can be taken at SUNYIT. The equivalent course that is available at SUNYIT is listed below:
- Mathematics: MAT 090 Preparation for College Math
- Chemistry & Biology Courses: On a case-by-case basis, the Admissions & Public Relations Committee may require that the applicant successfully complete a pre-requisite Biology or Human Biology and/or Essentials of Chemistry course(s) prior to August 1st of the enrollment year.
- Waiving Pre-requisite Courses: The Admissions and Public Relations Committee reserves the right to waive the prerequisite course upon review of the applicants file.
