Applying for the Fall of 2024: What you need to know

We have been very busy with building our online application and while we continue to do so, we invite applicants to continue using our paper application. Download our application by clicking the button below.

Once you have completed your application and all of the items on the checklist provided, you can mail it to:

These conditions may include federal background checks, health requirements, mandatory vaccines and confidentiality restrictions. Failure to comply, may result in a student's ability to participate in a clinical rotation and meet program requirements.

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2024

Apply Early!! St. Elizabeth College of Nursing (SECON) is a highly competitive nursing program.

 

Prerequisites:

Basic Algebra within the last three years. SECON does not accept a Statistics course to meet the Algebra pre-requisite. If applicants score a 75% or higher on the TEAS exam, this will fulfill the Algebra requirement.

GPA Requirements and Standardized Test

GPA Requirements:

2.75 or higher (College)

80% or higher (High School)

 

Standardized Test:

Required within the last three (3) years. (e.g. SAT/ACT, TEAS). If applicants have not had a test

within the three years,  we will schedule an ATI TEAS exam on campus as part of the application

process.

Application Fee:

$65.00

Transcripts:

Before processing any application, we require all transcripts from the applicants prior schooling. This includes high school, trade school and any colleges attended prior to applying to SECON.

DISCLAIMER:

Starting with the Fall 2019 semester, any student admitted into a New York State Associate Nursing Degree program will be required by the NYS Education Department to obtain a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree within 10 years of initial licensure in nursing.
